SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 8,100-8,800/mt ($273-297/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have declined by NTD 500/mt ($17/mt) over the past week to NTD 31,000-33,500/mt ($1,047-1,131/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-July shipments.
