SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have risen by 200 NTD/mt ($7/mt) over the past week to NTD 8,500-9,200/mt ($283-306/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 32,000-34,500/mt ($1,065-1,148/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-to-late June shipments.
