SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 8,700-9,400/mt ($264-286/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have declined by NTD 500/mt ($15/mt) over the past week to NTD 36,000-38,500/mt ($1,094-1,170/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early February shipments.
