SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 8,500-9,200/mt ($269-291/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have increased by NTD 500/mt ($16/mt) over the past week to NTD 34,000-36,500/mt ($1,075-1,154/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-February shipments.
