SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 8,500-9,200/mt ($269-292/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have increased by NTD 2,000/mt ($63/mt) over the past week to NTD 33,500-36,000/mt ($1,062-1,141/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early-to-mid February shipments.
