SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained stable over the past week at NTD 9,400-10,100/mt ($284-305/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained unchanged over the past week at NTD 36,000-38,500/mt ($1,086-1,161/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early May shipments.
