Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 5

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have decreased by NTD 300/mt ($11/mt) over the past week to NTD 9,600-10,300/mt ($343-368/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.

In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have remained stable over the past week at NTD 40,000-42,500/mt ($1,430-1,519/mt) ex-yard.

The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early and mid-March shipments.
