SteelOrbis has learned that pig iron export offers from Brazil still stand in the price range of $500-510/mt FOB for late February and March shipments, indicating no change as compared to last week.
Due to weak demand from the US, Brazilian pig iron suppliers are now focused on the Chinese market. After the end of the Chinese lunar New Year holiday, Brazilian pig iron export offers for China are expected to be readjusted next week.
