1. HR coils
Common carbon HRC prices have increased by RMB 200/mt ($29/mt). After the changes, the price of 2.75 mm Q235 HRC is at RMB 4,000/mt ($586/mt), while that of 5.5 mm Q235 HRC is at RMB 3,940/mt ($577/mt).
2. Medium plate
Prices are up by RMB 300/mt ($44/mt), with the new price of 14-20 mm Q235 medium plate at RMB 4,078/mt ($597/mt).
3. CR coils
Prices have increased by RMB 400/mt ($59/mt). Thus, the price of 1.0 mm Q195 CR sheet is at RMB 5,250/mt ($769/mt), while the price of 1.0 mm Q195 cold rolled coil is now at RMB 5,200/mt ($761/mt).
4. Galvanized coils
Prices have gone up by RMB 800/mt ($117/mt). As a result, the new price of 1.0 mm DX51D+Z is RMB 5,933/mt ($869/mt).
Prices have increased by RMB 250/mt ($37/mt).
6. Silicon steel
Prices have seen a rise of RMB 1,000/mt ($146/mt).
All the above prices exclude 17 percent VAT and are effective as of July 30, 2009.
