It is observed that demand in the local Portuguese and Spanish rebar markets has remained at low levels but producers have kept their domestic rebar prices stable at €505-515/mt ($571-582/mt) delivered to customer due to the high levels of scrap quotations.

Although rebar demand in the Iberian Peninsula has increased slightly as compared to the same period last year, the overall demand in Europe is observed to be at low levels.
