The downward pressure on domestic rebar prices in Portugal and Spain has continued in the current week due to the weakness of demand. Accordingly, domestic rebar quotations in these countries in the Iberian Peninsula have fallen further this week, continuing their trend recorded last week. As a result, domestic rebar prices in Portugal have declined from €490/mt recorded last week to €485/mt ($543/mt), both delivered to customer. Meanwhile, domestic rebar quotations in Spain have decreased from last week’s €485/mt level to the current level of €480/mt ($538/mt), both delivered to customer.
