This week in the Spanish rebar market domestic offers have remained unchanged since last week, while export prices have softened by €10/mt ($13/mt) amid weak demand in European markets and little hope for improvement on the demand side in the coming days.
SteelOrbis has learned from market sources that in the Spanish rebar market prices are still at €520-525/mt ($686-693/mt) for deliveries to customer, while Spanish rebar export offers are now being quoted at €465-475/mt ($614-627/mt) FOB. In addition, Spanish rebar offers to Algeria are at €490/mt ($647/mt) CFR.
Meanwhile, domestic rebar offers in Portugal are ranging at €510-520/mt ($673-686/mt) delivered.
On the other hand, ex-Italy rebar offers have also declined by €10/mt ($13/mt) over the past week and are currently standing at €460-470/mt ($607-620/mt) FOB.
