With rebar demand in Spain and Portugal remaining very weak, domestic rebar prices in the Iberian Peninsula have come under pressure and decreased further.

Having been at €495/mt delivered to customer last week, domestic rebar prices in Portugal are now at €490/mt ($554/mt) delivered to customer. Also, domestic rebar quotations in Spain, which were at €490/mt delivered to customer last week, are now at €480-485/mt ($542-548/mt) delivered to customer. Meanwhile, rebar demand in the Iberian Peninsula is not expected to recover in the short term due to the Easter holiday.
