Over the past week, Turkish merchant bar producers’ prices have remained stable in the local currency, with a decrease of $3-4/mt on US dollar basis due to the ongoing currency fluctuations. One Iskenderun-based mill has issued its equal angle price at TRY 23,800/mt ($601/mt) ex-works today, June 24. The mill has kept its merchant bar prices unchanged with a decrease of $3/mt over the past week.
Most merchant bar sellers are offering either for deliveries in July-beginning of August or from stocks, depending on the size.
