Today, March 2, Turkish mill Kardemir has raised prices in its sales of engineering grade wire rod products, amid currency fluctuations and higher import scrap and billet prices. The supplier has raised its dollar-based prices by $25-50/mt compared to its previous announcement on Monday, February 28. The producer has issued its list price only on US dollar basis, and for cash payment, on ex-works basis.
