Turkey’s Icdas revises its longs prices to offset currency fluctuations

Today, May 24, Turkish steelmaker Icdas A.S. has raised its official rebar price on lira basis by TRY 305/mt to TRY 14,845/mt ($780/mt) ex-works. The supplier has also increased its wire rod price by TRY 345/mt to TRY 16,750/mt ($880/mt) ex-works. Both prices have remained stable on US dollar basis. Sources report that the workable rebar price range varies at $760-770/mt ex-works in the Izmir and Marmara regions for serious buyers.
