Rebar prices in Turkey regress to psychological barrier

The Turkish domestic rebar market is still characterized by uncertainty and silence.

As of today, traders' 12 mm rebar prices in the Turkish market have declined to TRY 1,185-1,212/mt ($658-673/mt) + VAT  ex-warehouse. Thus, prices have regressed to the psychological barrier of TRY 1,185/mt, back to the levels recorded on February 22 when the previous upward trend had started.

SteelOrbis has learned from market sources that activity in the Turkish rebar market is fairly limited and that transactions are restricted to small tonnages. Buyers are currently abstaining from concluding new purchases due to the uncertain market conditions.
