Turkish mill Kardemir opens billet and rebar sales in domestic market

As per its new price list dated October 12, 2012, Turkish steel producer Kardemir has opened its domestic billet and rebar sales, without making any changes as compared to its price list dated September 25.

Accordingly, Kardemir has kept its billet offers at $530/mt + VAT, while the mill's rebar offers are still at TRY 1,064/mt ($588/mt), excluding VAT. Prices are on ex-works basis.
 
The producer is offering billet for advance payment, while its rebar sales are for 1,000 mt and above orders, with 25 percent on cash payment basis, with 25 percent each on 30-day, 60-day and 90-day deferred payment basis, and with no interest accruing due to payment deferral.
