Rebar demand on the weak side in Turkish domestic market

Low demand in the Turkish domestic market has continued to prevent rebar prices from registering increases. Even though Turkish steel mills tried to raise their offers early this week, weak demand did not allow any increases.
 
As of today, October 9, mills' rebar prices are ranging at TRY 1,051-1,064/mt ($577-585/mt) ex-works, excluding VAT, while traders' offers are as follows:
