The last rebar offer received from China by Brazilian importers was priced at $535/mt CFR, against $545/mt CFR one month ago, referring to the QC/HRB400 grade, in a port in the south or southeast coast of Brazil.

In June, Brazil imported 11,000 mt mt of rebar from Turkey, at $495/mt, FOB conditions.

A distributor in Rio de Janeiro is selling rebar in very small volumes in the domestic market at BRL 4,590/mt ($1,227/mt), full taxes and delivered to customer, roughly stable in BRL from one month ago. The offer price, with reference to the CA-50 grade and 10mm diameter, can reportedly receive substantial discounts in case of large volumes or direct sales by steel producers.
