Rebar demand strong in Israeli domestic market

This week, in the Israeli domestic market producers' rebar offers to the local market are at $718-720/mt ex-works on actual weight basis, for advance payment and excluding 16 percent VAT, while local traders' rebar offers are standing below this range. Meanwhile, although rebar demand has remained strong in the country, some deals for April delivery concluded below current import offers and which are currently being shipped have prevented prices from going up.
 
On the other hand, Turkish rebar offers to Israel are at $705-720/mt CFR for May shipments, but no transactions have been concluded at this price range so far.
