SteelOrbis has learned from markets sources that Turkish producers have revised their domestic structural steel prices upward against the backdrop of the increased strength of the US dollar against the Turkish lira. Purchasing activity for structural steel products had been on the strong side in previous days, but the slowdown in construction projects amid adverse weather conditions has impacted activity negatively. However, scrap suppliers' higher offers and the limited room for a price decline in the local finished steel market have provided support for prices.
