SteelOrbis has been informed that in the Syrian longs market the prices of imported angle are at SYP 34,000/mt ($741/mt) ex-warehouse, imported IPN/UPN prices are at SYP 37,500-38,000/mt ($817-828/mt) ex-warehouse, while flat and square bar prices are at the level of SYP 33,000/mt ($719/mt) ex-works. All prices are on actual weight basis, for weekly deferred payment and excluding VAT.
On the other hand, local mills' rebar prices in the Syrian market are currently at SYP 33,000-33,500/mt ($719-730/mt) ex-works, on actual weight basis, excluding VAT, and for cash payment.
