The reference price for the export of rebar by Brazilian producers is now $830/mt, against $860/mt one month ago, FOB conditions for the CA-50 grade, for sales to South American countries.
In June, Brazil exported 29,200 mt of rebar, against 17,200 mt in May. In both months, Brazil did not import rebar.
The exports of June were all destined to South American countries. The exporters were Gerdau (28,400 mt at $736/mt) and ArcelorMittal (800 mt at $839/mt), FOB conditions.
In the Brazilian domestic market, rebar is offered by producers, in medium to large volumes, at BRL 5,650/mt ($1,177/mt), against BRL 5,800/mt one month ago, ex-works, full taxes except IPI, for the supply in the country’s southeast and south regions.
