Effective with shipments September 1, 2010, Nucor Bar Mill Group's Raw Materials Surcharge (RMS) applicable to concrete reinforcing bars, merchant bars and structural products will be $288/nt ($14.40 cwt. or $317/mt); reflecting no change from the August 1 RMS.
The net effect of this move is that transaction pricing for reinforcing bars, merchant bars and structural products will remain neutral.
