Local rebar prices in Greece

SteelOrbis has been informed that local prices for medium size rebar in the Greek domestic market are currently at the level of €430/mt ($551/mt) delivered to customer, on actual weight basis with 90-day deferred payment, excluding VAT.

Price levels in the local Greek rebar market have been maintaining their downtrend. The rebar prices, which had showed a drop of €20/mt ($26/mt) at the beginning of the current week compared to the last week, have registered another decrease of €20/mt ($26/mt) at the end of this week. In addition, it is possible to negotiate for lower levels than the abovementioned for cash payment.
