India’s domestic billet prices trend down

On July 03, SteelOrbis reported India’s domestic billet prices slipping down further to INR 34,100/mt ($498/mt) ex-mill Raipur, down slightly in both domestic and dollar terms.

Sources inform SteelOrbis that offer prices are “receiving further downward pressure” and are now reportedly at INR 32,800-33,000/mt ($476-479/mt) ex-mill Raipur. Prices declined $19-22/mt from the price earlier in the week.
