India’s domestic billet prices tick up in dollar terms

On June 24, SteelOrbis reported Indian domestic induction grade billet offer prices at INR 28,500-28,900/mt ($411-417/mt ex-Raipur.

Sources inform SteelOrbis that offer prices dampened for the past week on weak demand but are now recovered to INR 28,500-28,900/mt ($414-419/mt) ex-Raipur. Due to currency fluctuations, prices increased $3/mt from the bottom of the previous range and $2/mt from the top of the same range. USD = INR 69.27 (Jun 24) USD = INR 68.91 (Jul 1)
