Indian domestic billet prices dip further

On October 23, SteelOrbis reported a downward trend for Indian domestic induction grade billet offers at INR 34,300-34,600/mt ($467-471/mt) ex-Raipur.

According to market sources, billet prices in the region have since continued the downward trend and are presently at INR 33,900-34,200/mt ($462-467/mt) ex-Raipur. The prices declined $5/mt from the bottom of the previous range and $4/mt from the top of the same range. USD = INR 73.43 (Oct 23) USD = INR 73.22 (Oct 25)
