Import billet offers to Saudi Arabia

According to market sources, billet offers from Turkey to Saudi Arabia can be found at $575/mt CFR, while CIS billet offers for the same destination are at $540/mt CFR. Turkish billet offers are considered to be on the high side by Saudi buyers and so demand for these offers has remained limited.
 
In the meantime, in the first quarter of the current year billet imports arriving in Saudi Arabia from Turkey amounted to 73,381 mt, with the Saudi market ranking ninth in terms of volume among Turkey's main billet export destinations in the given period.
