Billet demand from Saudi Arabian rolling mills has maintained its strength, especially as finished steel demand in Saudi Arabia has remained on the strong side throughout the current year.

In the meantime, ex-CIS billet offers to Saudi Arabia are in the range of $560-570/mt CFR, while Turkish mills' billet offers are at $580-590/mt CFR. However, no transactions have been concluded yet at these price levels. Saudi buyers indicate that they are ready to conclude deals at price levels of $545-550/mt CFR.
