CIS mills' billet export offers have gained strength thanks to the upward movements of scrap prices. Accordingly, ex-CIS billet offers have indicated an increase of $5/mt on the lower end since last week to $505-510/mt FOB. Purchases of August rolling CISbillet in the foreign markets, particularly in the Middle East-North Africa and Black Sea regions, have continued to be concluded, while demand for offers of this material has remained on the strong side.
On the other hand, CISbillet offers to Turkey, where the latest CISbillet deal has been concluded at $527/mt CFR Iskenderun, are currently ranging at $515-527/mt CFR.
