SteelOrbis has been informed that ex-CIS billet offers are at $495-505/mt FOB, indicating no changes since last week, while buyers consider these offers to be on the high side and so they are postponing their purchases for the moment. Meanwhile, before the Victory Day holiday on May in the CIS, one CIS producer had concluded a billet deal on the export side at the price level of $490/mt FOB.

On the other hand, CIS billet offers for Turkey are currently standing at $510-525/mt CFR.
