ArcelorMittal raises US and Canadian wire rod prices by $30/nt

ArcelorMittal Long Carbon North America announced Tuesday a $1.50 cwt. ($33/mt or $30/nt) increase in wire rod pricing in both US and Canadian markets, effective with shipments as of March 15, 2011.

This increase follows Keystone Steel and Wire's similar price increase announced Monday.
