On September 10, major Chinese steelmaker Wuhan Iron and Steel Co. (WISCO) has issued its steel sales prices for October delivery following Baosteel announcment. The company has decided to cut local prices for HRC, carbon steel, prestressed strand and high-carbon steel by RMB 100/mt ($14/mt), while for other products by RMB 50/mt ($7/mt). Base prices of section steel have remained stable, SteelOrbis learnt.
