US domestic plate prices

US domestic plate prices are being heard in the range of $46-$47 cwt. ($1,014-$1,036/mt or $920-$940/nt), ex-mill. It’s believed that US plate mills may try to announce a price increase later this week. Should the increase be announced, it’s speculated it will be in the amount of $2.00 cwt. ($44/mt or $40/nt), ex-mill.
