Over the past week, demand in the local Turkish coated coil market has remained at low levels. It is observed that Turkish mills have reduced their coated coil prices amid the weakness of demand and the lower hot rolled coil (HRC) quotations recorded in their domestic market.
However, market sources do not expect a significant revival in demand due to the traditionally sluggish summer season and the negative outlook for Turkey’s economy.
