New import offers have gained clarity as of the current week in the Turkish flat steel market, where demand is still stagnant. Accordingly, new import offers for Turkey have indicated an increase of $10-15/mt as compared to last month's price levels.
Meanwhile, new Russian offers have not been heard yet, though previous import offers from Russia were at $565-585/mt CFR for hot rolled coil (HRC) and at $640-660/mt CFR for cold rolled coil (CRC).
In the meantime, new flat steel import offers for Turkey are as follows: Romanian HRC offers are at $565-585/mt CFR, while CRC offers from the same source stand at $705-710/mt CFR. Meanwhile, ex-Ukraine HRC offers are in the range of $555/mt CFR, while Ukrainian CRC offers to Turkey are standing at $630-640/mt CFR. In addition, Slovakian HRC offers to Turkey are at $600-605/mt CFR, while ex-Italy offers for HRC can be found at $610-615/mt CFR Turkey.
