During the week ending July 28, the average prices of Chinese domestic hot dip galvanized (HDG) have continued their upward trend, while the overall transaction activity in the market has remained at low levels. Average HDG prices in the local Chinese market are presented in the following table.

During the given week, ferrous metal futures prices in China have indicated a rising trend, exerting a positive impact on the domestic HDG market, with HDG traders raising their offer prices. However, at the same time transaction activity has remained slack. It is thought that HDG prices in the Chinese domestic market will likely move on a stable trend in the coming week.
