According to market sources, prices of hot rolled coil (HRC) in the local UK market are currently in the range of GBP 330-350/mt ($492-522/mt) ex-works, for June delivery, while prices of second quality surplus HRC are at GBP 290/mt ($432/mt) ex-works, for March delivery. Meanwhile, prices of hot rolled sheet (HRS) in the local UK market are now at GBP 410/mt ($611/mt) delivered, for March delivery.
On the other hand, UK-based traders' offers to their local market for Turkish, Chinese and Iranian HRC are in the range of GBP 320-360/mt ($477-536/mt) delivered, for March delivery.
20 percent VAT is excluded in all prices.
