In the Italian market, domestic producers' hot rolled coil (HRC) base prices are currently at €550-560/mt ($677-689/mt) ex-works, i.e., slightly up compared to one week ago, for end-of-April deliveries. Meanwhile, producers' domestic CRC prices have reached €630-650/mt ($775-780/mt) ex-works (compared to last week's levels of €620-640), while HDG prices have remained at €640/mt ($787/mt) ex-works.

As reported previously, local prices have maintained their strength due to low import volumes and also due to the weak competitiveness of import offers, which are currently at around €560/mt ($689/mt) CFR Italy.
