Import plate offers for Turkey

Import plate offers to Turkey from Ukraine have moved on a stable trend over the past two weeks, while Macedonian plate offers for the same destination have increased by $10/mt over the period in question due to the strong performance of Macedonian producer Makstil's order books.
 
Currently, steel plate offers to Turkey given by Ukraine-based Alchevsk Iron and Steel Works are standing at $565/mt CFR, while another Ukrainian producer Ilyich Iron & Steel Works is offering plate to Turkey at the base price level of $565/mt CFR - both for shipments in August. In addition, Macedonia-based Makstil's plate offers are now standing at $800-810/mt CFR.
