Import plate offers to Turkey from Ukraine have moved on a stable trend since last month, while Macedonian plate offers to Turkey have increased by $30/mt over the same period.
Currently, steel plate offers to Turkey given by Ukraine-based Alchevsk Iron and Steel Works are standing at $565/mt CFR, while another Ukrainian producer Ilyich Iron & Steel Works is offering plate to Turkey at the base price level of $565/mt CFR - both for shipments in June. In addition, Macedonia-based Makstil's plate offers are now standing at $795-800/mt CFR Turkey for May deliveries.
