As SteelOrbis reported last week, a pipe grade 1.2 mm HRC booking was concluded to Saudi Arabia at the level of $690/mt CFR Jeddah for September shipment and new offers given for the same grade HRC to Saudi Arabia increased to the level of $700/mt CFR Jeddah. This week, it is heard that bookings have been concluded for pipe grade 1.2 mm HRC at the level of $700/mt CFR Jeddah.

Meanwhile, domestic producer SABIC, which has filled its order books for production through October due to strong demand in the Saudi Arabian domestic market, is collecting orders for November production materials. Should local demand continue at high levels, it is said that the producer may not offer materials to the export market.
