Import hot rolled coil (HRC) and cold rolled coil (CRC) offers to Oman have remained unchanged as compared to previous weeks, while demand has stayed at moderate levels. However, Chinese offers are expected to move downwards in the coming period in line with price declines seen in Chinese finished steel export offers.

SteelOrbis has learned from market sources that CIS and Indian origin HRC offers to Oman are still standing at $600-610/mt CFR, while ex-China HRC offers to the Omani market are at $590-595/mt CFR. In the meantime, ex-CIS and ex-India CRC offers to Oman stand at $685-710/mt CFR, while Chinese CRC offers to Oman are at $675-695/mt CFR.

The offers are for advance payments and for deliveries in late September.
