HRC price declines slightly in the Brazilian domestic market

Steel distributors in Sao Paulo are negotiating HRC for the domestic market at BRL 3,600/mt ($1,095/mt) ex-works, full taxes except IPI, having the 1008/1012 grades, 4.75mm thickness product as reference. The price compares with BRL 3,620/mt two weeks ago

Direct sales from producers to distributors and large consumers are priced at an estimated BRL 2,425/mt ($738/mt), ex-works, no taxes included, only PIS-Cofins charges, stable for the last month.
