SteelOrbis has learned that in the Vietnamese flat steel market hot rolled coil (HRC) offers given from China stand at the price level of $640-645/mt CFR, while offers given for 2.0 mm rerolling quality HRC from Taiwan and South Korea are at $730-735/mt CFR and $700/mt CFR respectively.
HRC import offers to the country are reportedly following a downward trend in general. While Chinese offers appear to be reasonable to Vietnamese buyers, the South Korean offers, which have decreased by $10/mt, have failed to attract buyers' interest.
