Although flat steel demand in the UAE is not so great, import offer prices to the country have shown some increases recently.
SteelOrbis has learned that Saudi Arabian hot rolled coil (HRC) offers to the UAE market are currently standing at about 720-730/mt CFR.
In the meantime, Chinese HRC offers to UAE are at $620/mt FOB, while there have not been any import offers from India, as Indian producers are fully booked for March production.
