The Spanish hot rolled coil (HRC) market continues to witness slow activity due to weakness of the euro, while market demand is significantly low, with buyers delaying their purchases for a while.

SteelOrbis has learned that in the Spanish flat steel market HRC offers from the UK stand at €530/mt ($721/mt) CIF, while HRC offers given from Italy stand at the price range of €530-540/mt ($721-734/mt) CIF. It is also reported that prices may be lower in the transaction phase.
