HRC export prices stable in Brazil

Brazilian producers are negotiating HRC of the basic commercial grades for export at $610/mt, FOB conditions, the same reference as last week, following a decrease from $620/mt that remained stable for the previous nine weeks, a local exporter told SteelOrbis.

In July, CSN exported 41,500 mt of HRC at $590/mt, ArcelorMittal Tubarao exported 32,000 mt at $570/mt, and Usiminas exported 900 mt at $692/mt, all FOB conditions with price deals probably closed in May.
